Just inside the main entrance to Disney's Animal Kingdom®, the Oasis is a small collection of shops, amenities, and small animal exhibits.

Here you can see the giant anteater, wild boar, muntjac, and other smaller creatures.

The Rainforest Café

Table service. Dine amongst audio-animatronic creatures under jungle foliage. The café is located at the main entrance and stays open later than the rest of the park, making it a nice spot to enjoy a meal after a long day observing real animals. Reservations recommended.

 

DISCOVERY ISLAND

This island holds the park’s spectacular Tree of Life landmark, as well as some fun attractions and cleverly concealed animal exhibits.

Located in the roots of the Tree of Life, this fun and funny 3D animated presentation from Pixar shrinks the audience down to an insect’s point of view.

 

Discovery Island Animal Exhibits

Watch Galápagos tortoises, African crested porcupines, lemurs, and cotton-top tamarins at the base of the Tree of Life.

Flame Tree Barbecue

Quick service. One of our favorite quick service spots in the Animal Kingdom. Big portions of authentic smoked and barbecue-rubbed ribs and chicken. Yum!

Quick service. Obviously pizza is the featured fare here, but they also serve sandwiches and salads. The dining area is adorned with beautiful colors and designs.
